With the Reverse sl st, you simply do the sl st in the st to the right.Beverlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07557477426693868941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11951064.post-89301780101974637662007-04-11T03:45:00.000+02:002007-04-11T03:45:00.000+02:00That sounds too complicated for my neurons...That sounds too complicated for my neurons...LGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738370587571128494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11951064.post-13345982024012875772007-04-08T12:58:00.000+02:002007-04-08T12:58:00.000+02:00Reverse sl st is very alike the reverse sc.Maybe y...Reverse sl st is very alike the reverse sc.Maybe you better check out the stitch at some other source, sometimes it is worded differently and it becomes easier to follow.
Would it be so wierd if I said that I actually like doing the reverse sc? But that's true. I like to finish off items wih that stitch- it gives a nice and strong finish. It's really easy too once you get the hang of it ...just need to practice a little. Hang on, You can do it.Yasminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07657348831581173207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11951064.post-75779958624473272682007-04-08T02:38:00.000+02:002007-04-08T02:38:00.000+02:00Yikes! Good luck with the cro-tatting. Look forward to seeing the final results!Jenny Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03938419046702065969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11951064.post-73126115591136215942007-04-05T15:57:00.000+02:002007-04-05T15:57:00.000+02:00Good luck, Kimberly! That sounds cool if you can figure it out :D It will be such a challenge to surprise you, since I have not learned any fancy stitches lately :)Mimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18083410586195970499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11951064.post-61111518875610036242007-04-05T14:15:00.000+02:002007-04-05T14:15:00.000+02:00Don't give up yet! I believe I got the hang of it from watching the old stitch guide. If that fails--Vera Hannaford has a free blanket pattern that uses that stitch. Maybe her directions explain it better. Sometimes I find if I can just get a different explanation of how the stitch is worked then I'm ok.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11951064.post-12137460645042654082007-04-05T13:22:00.000+02:002007-04-05T13:22:00.000+02:00Yes, exactly like you are working in the previous ...Yes, exactly like you are working in the previous stitch. If you are ambidextrous, just switch hands and work the opposite direction. For the millions of us who aren't, however, twist your hook down and back into the previous stitch in order to pick up your loop for the reverse sl st. Google shrimp stitch or crab stitch to see what reverse sc (same technique, basically) looks like.Cyndilou :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/08227968890505155696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11951064.post-20463235736413823312007-04-05T12:08:00.000+02:002007-04-05T12:08:00.000+02:00I remember the first time I tried rev sc...omg...i...I remember the first time I tried rev sc...omg...it felt really awkward! Just take it slowly and, the key for me, work looser than you usually would, then you'll have a longer loop on your hook to "get behind you".

Good luck, you brave girl, can't wait to see the results...and now you blogged about it so is everyone else..lolPinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15320361823925427984noreply@blogger.com
