I want to make something.....

Honest.  I really do want to knit or crochet something.....I just don't know what.  I am itching to dig into my stash and start churning out projects again.....but I just can not get over some weird subconscious thingy that is drawing me away from the yarn.  I stare at my yarn, look at patterns and others finished items and yet there is no great big epiphany on what I will create.

I guess I gots me the crafters blues.

*sigh*

Soon, I promise I will overcome this malady that has me unconsciously turning away from my beloved yarn and reaching instead for solace at the bottom of the nearest pint of Ben & Jerry's.......

MAKE SOMETHING TO DONATE, A FEW BABY HATS OR CANCER HATS. SOMETING THAT'S SIMPLE AND WON'T TAKE VERY MUCH TIME. MAYBE WORK ON A BABY BLANKET AND HAT AND HAVE IT READY FOR YOUR NEXT BABY GIFT. OR MAYBE SOME OF YOUR DISHCLOTHS, THAT WAY IF YOU NEED A SIMPLE THANK YOU GIFT OR QUICK SHOWER GIFT YOU HAVE IT.
IF YOU WORK ON SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE ELSE YOU FORGET ABOUT YOUR WORRIES OR WHATEVER IT IS AND YOUR CRAFTING LIKE YOUR OLD SELF. GOOD LUCK AND PRAYING FOR YOU TO HAVE A FAST CROCHETING RECOVERY. :-)

1. Go to my blog and look at the button i'm giving away.
2. enter and win the button.
3. crochet something that will go with the button. Use it as an accent on a hat, a bag, a shawl... Cinchy!

Hope all's well over there!

Hang in there. We all have project block every once in a while. You might want to find something else to confort you if the blockage last very long. Ben and Jerry could be hazzardious to you health if intake is too substancial.

The last time that happened to me I went to the store thinking maybe a diffent project was the answer. I came away with a different craft altogether, a quilling needle, paper and books. That lasted about a month then it was back to crocheting again.

you can do it. Make something small and quick, just to get back into the groove!
