So its back to the handy and trusty cell phone for todays pics......I can not give you a finished item today but I can show you what I am making!
Here it is....
The Larger Than Life bag from Interweave Crochet. I have finished all of the squares and am about half way with the side and bottom band.
What makes this fitting for International Crochet Day? Why only this:
Thats right! I am using my hand crafted Jimbo egg-hook on this project!
In other crafty goodness, one of my colleagues gifted my with this pattern booklet today! Perfect timing! She picked it up at a yarn shop on an island close to Malta... I can not remember the name of the island right now...Gosu? Gorsu? Something like that!
A super cute baby pattern booklet! A UK booklet which shall prove a challenge while crocheting, but worth it for the oh so cute patterns in it!
Off to bed now! Happy International Crochet Day!

You mean Corfu? Where the Durrells lived.
Following the UK pattern shouldn't be that difficult, actually, just go down a step each stitch, is you see what I mean :)
Hope you're feeling better.
The Larger Than Life Bag is just great!
What pretty baby outfits. Remember that the British name the crochet stitches differently ir--sc is a dc to us, and a tr is a dc,and so on
That bag will be beautiful, dear Kim!
I hope you´re feeling better today.

PS: have a great day!
The island name is Gozo and is north of Malta and south of Sicily. A nice relaxing and authentic place. They still love knitting and crocheting over there and had 3 old shops in one street of the main city: Victoria.
Your bag will be beautiful when you have time to finish it and will be less occupied by work.
I've been crocheting for 30 years and I have never seen one of those ball crochet hooks. Where did you find one like that? Is it easy to use?
