Waterloo....I was defeated you won the war

Hello! I do hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend and those in the US survived the holidays and the Black Friday shopping events.

Here in Belgium I spent a wonderful few days with my friend Zori....We both agreed that it was like she had never left at all. Strange how easily you fall into old familiar patterns....walking down the street, singing Mamma Mia, pointing out the same things to laugh at.

I did find some time to do some crafting while Zori was away visiting with other friends in Brussels. Here is a first for me: That's right! I made my very first hat. I can not believe that it has taken me this long to find the courage to make something for my head. Pardon the crappy picture of me.....it was after 2 in the morning but I was determined to finish this up last night.

The details:
Yarn: Patons SWS Soy Wool Solids in Natural Plum
Amount: <1 skein
Needle: 5.0mm Addi bamboo circular
Pattern: Asminah's Hat
Designer: Kody May Knits
Time: 1 day

I love that hat! Great job. Its funny, the FIRST thing I knitted was a hat! I've only just now started knitting a scarf. Backwards I suppose. Glad you had a nice time.

Hope you and Zori are having a great time in Zurich this week. Stay safe ladies. I think your hat is really cute honey. Good job - even if you did procrastinate FOREVER before you finally started on it. :-)
