My French Market Bag Olympic Gold

Here it is folks, my French Market Bag in all of its glory before and after the first felting attempts:

And for those of you who are curious as to what the bottom looks like now:

I will be re-felting the bag at least one more time before I am satisfied, but to have it done this far has seen me reach my Olympic goal!

I am already plotting what to knit with the remainder of the wool that I have in this colorway......and plotting what to do with the 10 skeins of a different color I had sent to my parents house in the US to use while I am on vacation in 2 weeks!

Congratulations to all of my fellow Olympic Knitters and Crocheters....finished or not, we have had an excellent time cheering each other on, and seeing what we could do. As we all know, life does like to throw curve balls our way, and I know that several were not able to meet the deadline.....keep on persevering with your project, and know that you are an Olympic champion just for trying!!!

Many thanks for the kind words! I was so excited to finish both projects, essentially at the last minute, but both are done!

Congrats Daughter, Day to two to relax? How about two weeks in Florida?? By the way knitting/crocheting not allowed in my condo. Were there for FUN & SUN. NOT to be hermits locked away in our rooms knitting?? Give me and yourself a break and ENJOY the SUN let the SUNSHINE into your life.
Love ya nice job Princess.

And please do tell why I can not enjoy both the sun and some crocheting / knitting??? I managed to do both last year while I was in Florida....well, crocheting nad sun since I was not knitting at that stage of the game! And since you are bringing the yarn I left at home over Christmas with you plus the projects I had started, you are only aiding my ability to enjoy both!

Congrats on finishing both projects. They both look great! And I love the colors on the bag. Glad to know yours turned out a little funky like mine - probably has to do with the way the bottom was done...
